alisha’s last post took us to the land down under, and this song delivers a bit of Aussie nostalgia.

“I Want You” brings me back to 4th grade, listening to WNCI, being very into these swings during recess, and having a crazy crush on the new girl Alice.

Now 12 years after “I Want You” hit the US, the “savages garden” have become a faux-buzz band for 2009 (and my losing pick in this year’s yardfest pool).

In any case, I was hoping this acoustic version might shed some insight into what it means to “chicken cherry cola”. The mystery remains, but the song has a cool sound!
